The Scripps Research Institute’s Graduate Program was formed in 1989, capitalizing on Scripps’ strengths in basic and translational research. It offers students a unique opportunity to customize their educational experience and interact with world-renowned faculty. Since 1999, the Program has been ranked in the top ten by US News and World Report (most recently seventh in chemistry, ninth in biological sciences).
The mission of the Program is to train the next generation of scientists at the interface of biological and chemical sciences for productive careers in the global economy.
