High School Student Internship ProgramELIGIBILITY

Research internships are awarded on a competitive basis to United States citizens or permanent residents who will begin their junior or senior years in a Palm Beach County high school in the fall of that year. All applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Students must be 16 years of age or older by the first day of the program. Students are required to be available for the entire eight-week duration of the internship.

While students of all ethnic and cultural groups are considered and accepted into the program, a special emphasis is placed on identifying and recruiting students who are historically underrepresented in the sciences (i.e., African-American, Hispanic, Native Pacific Islander, or Native American students).
