Virtual Seminars and Workshops

Scripps Research is pleased to host a series of free, open-access virtual events for college undergraduates everywhere who are considering graduate studies and career options in biomedical research.

Virtual events include scientific seminars on exciting laboratory research, panel discussions with current Scripps Research doctoral students, and useful workshops covering topics ranging from career options in science to graduate school application strategies.

Most virtual events are held via our FIRST (Fully Interactive Resources for Students and Teachers) program, a new educational outreach initiative that aims to support students and educators (college and K-12) by providing a platform to interact with Scripps Reseaech scientists, learn about research careers, and access hands-on activities that bring science into the home or classroom.

Clicking the FIRST WEBINARS button will take you to our Canvas page, where you can browse and register for upcoming virtual research seminars, career development workshops, panel discussions and other virtual events.
