Alisha Chapin

Graduate Program Administrative Assistant


Role: Alisha Chapin serves as an administrative assistant for the Office of Graduate Studies on the California campus of Scripps Research. In this capacity, she serves at the first point of contact for the Graduate Office, responding to the needs of graduate students, faculty, staff and visitors. Chapin supports students and faculty with the processing of official documents and forms, and provides logistical support for student committee meetings and other graduate program events.

Background: Chapin holds a masters in Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Prior to joining the Office of Graduate Studies at Scripps Research, Chapin worked as a board certified behavior analyst supporting a residential and day program for adults with disabilities. She also teaches mindfulness and meditation.
