COURSE DESCRIPTION
This boot camp guides students in the preparation of a proposal for submission to the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program. Students will participate in a brainstorming class to identify promising ideas, obtain preliminary feedback, and learn the mechanics of Scrivener (writing project management software). Students will compose their proposal text and participate in a panel review of proposals to gain perspective on the process of grant review. Course directors will provide students with the aggregated blinded feedback for proposal revision, Scripps Research institutional review and submission to NSF through Fastlane.
