2024 Commencement Ceremony

The Skaggs Graduate School of Chemical and Biological Sciences at Scripps Research is pleased to present our 2024 Commencement Ceremony, celebrating our 59 newest doctoral degree recipients who comprise Scripps Research’s 32^nd graduating class. 

Recorded live on Friday, May 17, 2024, the event featured a keynote speech by Scripps Research chemist and 2002 graduate program alumnus Phil S. Baran, PhD, as well as introductions of the graduating students by their faculty mentors, recognizing their academic achievements and scientific accomplishments.

We hope you enjoy this special event, which serves as a celebration of research and discovery, as well as the tenacity, creativity and incredible promise demonstrated by these young scientists.
