2025 Commencement Ceremony

The Skaggs Graduate School of Chemical and Biological Sciences at Scripps Research is pleased to present our 2025 Commencement Ceremony, celebrating our 61 newest doctoral degree recipients who comprise Scripps Research’s 33^rd graduating class. 

Recorded live on Friday, May 16, 2025, the event featured remarks by Prof. Keary Engle, dean of graduate and postdoctoral studies, and Prof. Pete Schultz, president and CEO of Scripps Research, followed by heartfelt introductions of the graduating students by their faculty mentors, recognizing their academic achievements and scientific accomplishments.

We hope you enjoy this special event, which serves as a celebration of research and discovery, as well as the tenacity, creativity and incredible promise demonstrated by these young scientists.
