Online Operations During COVID-19 Closure

Scripps Research is closely monitoring the developments related to the novel coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). Out of an abundance of caution, all thesis defenses, committee meetings, and classes on both campuses will take place via video conferencing effective Friday, 13 March, 2020. For all Graduate Program requests, Graduate Office staff members will be fully available online during normal operating hours (8:30 am – 5:00 pm).

We are hopeful this format change is brief, and we will continue to follow the situation closely to determine when a return to normal procedures is possible. The institute has created an external webpage dedicated to COVID-19 (https://www.scripps.edu/covid-19/information/index.html) where you’ll find lots of information and resources including how to acquire VPN for journal access, etc.
