Doctoral Thesis: Seryl-tRNA Synthetase in Translation and Cancer Inhibition.
Research Focus: Wang researched proteins involved in translation to understand their fundamental biological roles in protein synthesis and applications to cancer therapy.

Noteworthy Publications: Seryl-tRNA synthetase promotes translational readthrough by mRNA binding and involvement of the selenocysteine incorporation machinery, Nucleic Acids Research (2023)
Honors and Awards: The Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program, National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (2024)
